About the project
STL Traffic aimed to implement an application and an administrator’s website to track couriers, specifically truck drivers, on a map of Russia in real-time.
The goal was for drivers to install the application, send coordinates to the server using an Internet connection and GPS data, and allow administrators to view all couriers in real-time and establish contact.

We faced challenges in creating a unique and compliant platform
Challenge 1: Real-time monitoring
The primary challenge was to monitor all drivers on one map in real-time, including their current status, amount, and quantity of goods.
Solution
An application was developed where couriers could update their status, such as “on the way,” “repairs,” or “awaiting unloading.”
Challenge 2: Courier information management
Administrators needed to view and edit courier dossiers and assign various statuses.
Solution
The application provided a comprehensive profile for each courier, allowing for viewing and editing of details.
Challenge 3: Technical implementation
A range of technical tasks, from application design to server-side notifications and map integrations, needed to be addressed.
Solution
The project saw the creation of application architecture, server parts, and preparation of technical tasks for developers. Features like real-time map updates, courier notifications, driver ratings, and more were implemented.
